* Dubai Media city and Internet City to expand

Dubai Media City (DMC) and Internet City (DIC) will expand with the Al Thuraya Tower, the first high rise building coming up within the premises developed by the private sector. This is the first of an estimated 27 buildings expected to be created within the next five years.

Several private investors are moving into the real estate sector as Property Management Leasing Agreements (PMLA) which offers investor to develop the buildings while the Free Zone runs and manages the property.

"The new exciting infrastructure expansion will create the capacity for the Free Zone's growth into a richer and even more vibrant knowledge industry hub," commented Jamal Abdul Salam, Executive director of Dubai Internet City.

The Free Zone areas are responsible for all aspects of sales and marketing of value added property services as maintenance and management of the facilities. Moreover the companies moving into the free zones will be able to obtain free zone benefits offered by DIC and DMC.
